Professionals defy US-Marcos fascism and join people’s war

As the US-Marcos regime intensifies its fascist attacks on the Filipino people, particularly the peasants and people in the countryside, more and more enlightened Filipino professionals are being aroused to join revolutionary organizations and the armed revolutionary movement. They are inspired by the rectification movement led by the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), the strengthening of the New People’s Army (NPA), and the upsurge of the people’s movement in the cities.

Stench of corruption, criminality prevails in AFP, PNP

Despite public pronouncements from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP), that their institutions are not corrupt, reality bites. According to the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), “The stench of the padrino system, corruption and criminality pervades in the Armed Forces the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP).”

New MSP chapter of revolutionary health students and professionals founded

Health students and professionals gathered for an assembly at an undisclosed location and formally established a Makabayang Samahang Pangkalusugan (MSP) on August 2, 2025, reported by the Ang Bayan Ngayon on October 9. The MSP is the health workers’ revolutionary organization and a National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) allied organization.

NPA conducts targeted operations against military assets in Negros, Leyte

Int’l solidarity mission faces harassment as it investigates state terror in PH

International delegates successfully conducted a fact-finding and solidarity mission last October 11-14 to investigate the continuing fascist terror of the US-Marcos regime against peasants and indigenous communities, and were themselves subjected to numerous forms of harassment by the regime’s Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

Ka Joma's legacy immortalized in new museum dedicated in his honor

A museum dedicated to honor the life and works of the late founding chairperson of the CPP, Jose Maria “Ka Joma” Sison, was formally opened on 19 September in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The museum will generate curiosity among generations to come and is cherished to inspire all to learn from Joma’s life and legacy, stressed Joma’s comrade-wife Julie de Lima during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. She was assisted by Utrecht City Council representative and member of the Dutch political party Bij1, Ms. Noura Oul Fakir.
