Tributes and messages of condolences continue to be sent to the NDFP International Office and Comrade Coni Ledesma, wife of Comrade Luis “Louie” Jalandoni, who passed away last June 7 in Utrecht, The Netherlands. He was 90.
Groups oppose Duterte’s interim release as Senate delays Sara Duterte trial

On June 19, the International Association of Democratic Lawyers (IADL) issued a formal call to ICC Pre Trial Chamber I to review the former President Duterte’s motion for interim release under the Rome Statute protections (Articles 58–60). In their view, granting such relief risks undermining accountability for grave crimes against humanity allegedly committed during his bloody presidency.

Groups condemn ‘Kasangga’ and ‘Kamandag’ war games

Bayan Australia, a broad alliance of Filipino organizations and individuals in Australia, has strongly condemned the ongoing joint military exercises—Kasangga 2025-01 between the Philippine Army and the Australian Defence Force (ADF), and Kamandag 8-24 involving US, Philippine, and allied troops. The alliance denounced these war games as provocations that escalate regional tensions and entrench foreign military intervention in the Philippines.

Fisherfolk group slams one-sided China stand, asserts right to municipal waters

On May 25, PAMALAKAYA (National Federation of Small Fisherfolk Organization in the Philippines) criticised Akbayan Partylist announcement to gather “patriotic and pro-WPS lawmakers to protect the seas and the rights and welfare of fisherfolk and maritime frontliners.” They allegedly aim to unite against China’s interference in the WPS.

Terrorist AFP rotten and divided - CPP

The recent coup rumors within the terrorist Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) are among manifestations of the US puppet army’s rotten and factionalized character. CPP chief information officer Marco Valbuena recently emphasized that these rumors merely confirm the factional loyalties of the officers and troops of the AFP. Their loyalty is not to the Filipino people but to whoever among either the Marcos or Duterte faction lines their pockets with rewards.
