Filipinos support Venezuela’s just resistance against US imperialism

The Philippine-Bolivarian Venezuela Friendship Association (PBVFA) and the Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN) joined the Global Day of Solidarity with Venezuela and for Peace in Latin America on August 31. The expression of solidarity was made in the midst of the U.S. disinformation campaign  accusing the country of being involved in illegal drug trafficking.

The PBVFA laughs off such incredible basis to justify the deployment of the U.S. of warships and marines off the Venezuelan coast. BAYAN declared that “The recent deployment of U.S. warships in the Carribean, under the pretext for regime change in Venezuela”.

NPA inflicts hard blows to Marcos Jr.’s fascist troops in latest actions

New People’s Army (NPA) guerrillas inflicted hard blows recently to Marcos’ fascist troops wiping out at least a dozen fascist soldiers. This came as the fascist Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) began another wave of brutal counterrevolutionary armed offensives across several provinces.

Progressive groups demand resumption of Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial

Members of Bayan (Bagong Alyansang Makabayan) ,a coalition of progressive groups  and Tama Na, together with other groups and concerned citizens assembled in front of the Supreme Court building in Manila on August 12, 2025, and demanded a reversal of its ruling that declared unconstitutional the impeachment trial against Vice President Sara Duterte submitted by the House of Representatives to the Senate.

Marcos Jr. crocodile tears on anomalous flood control projects

Groups call for demilitarization after Chinese ship collission in WPS

Following the recent collision involving two Chinese ships near Panatag Shoal in the West Philippine Sea, the Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN) has renewed its call for the demilitarization of the seas and the removal of both Chinese and United States military forces from Philippine waters.

Fisherfolk group marks 9th year since PH win in arbitral ruling vs China

Members of the Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamalakaya ng Pilipinas (Pamalakaya), a grassroots fisherfolk movement in the Philippines, held a protest action along the coast on July 12 to mark the 9th anniversary ruling of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) regarding the issues in the West Philippine Sea.
