CBCP panel withdraws from NTF-Elcac exec committee

On October 23, 2023, Fr. Jerome Secillano, executive secretary of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Commission on Public Affairs, announced that their panel had withdrawn from the executive committee of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Conflict (NTF-ELCAC).

Marcos Jr., Sara Duterte suffer double-digit drop in approval ratings

The approval ratings of Bongbong Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte suffered a double-digit drop in the latest survey conducted by Pulse Asia in September. From 80 percent last June, Marcos Jr’s approval rating plummeted to 65 percent, while Duterte’s rating declined from 84 percent to 73 percent in the same period.
