The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), on 19 January 2025, through its Chief Information Officer Marco Valbuena, announced that the CPP, the New People’s Army and all the Filipino people’s revolutionary forces extend militant solidarity to the Palestinian people and their revolutionary freedom fighters, as the ceasefire agreement with Israel takes effect the same day.

Secret transfer of US Typhon missile system, condemned

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) has condemned the “barefaced betrayal of the Filipino people’s independence and the country’s sovereignty” of the Marcos regime for “colluding with the US government and military for the secret transfer of the US Typhon missile system to an undisclosed location in the country”, in a statement last January 24, 2025.

CPP directs NPA to protect people’s interests amid reactionary elections

The Taumbayan Ayaw sa Magnanakaw at Abusado Network Alliance (TAMA NA) announced its planned protest on January 31 at Liwasang Bonifacio, Manila. Philippines (CPP), through its Chief Information Officer Marco Valbuena, on 13 January, 2025, exposed the rally organized by the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC), Church of Christ, held on the same day in Luneta Park in Manila as a brazen attempt to derail the Filipino people’s quest to attain justice for high crimes of corruption and mass killings perpetrated by former President Rodrigo Duterte and current Vice President Sara Duterte.

Cuban people demand end to US imperialist embargo

On December 20, in Havana, Cuba, hundreds of thousands of Cuban people protested in front of the US Embassy demanding the end of the US’ crippling embargo and remove the country from its list of countries “supporting terrorism”. The protest was led by Cuban President Miquel Diaz-Canel.
